Beyond the Built Environment recently received a generous grant from the AIA College of Fellows to support the research efforts for SAY IT LOUD - Washington DC at The Octagon Museum in 2022. The funds will be used to hire NOMAS or AIAS students to help research the 136 African American AIA Fellows to be displayed in the SAY IT LOUD - Washington DC Exhibition.
As an architect, I deeply value the collaborative process of creating environments that sustain and reflect diversity and dignity of human life. Representation is quintessential to achieving diversity. Pascale Sablan AIA, NOMA, Founder & Executive Director of Beyond the Built Environment
